Canoes Plus are running a gourmet all- inclusive packrafting trip close to Melbourne. Want a new adventure experience close to home (without spending hours traveling), come and join us right here on the Yarra River.

Think of it as a mix of scenic hiking and pristine river paddling, designed specifically to build confidence, communication, and shared memories.  If this sounds fun, and are excited to give it a try, then this all-inclusive trip gives you a taste of the adventure trip, plus some basic skills and techniques.

Zero Experience Needed: We cater to all fitness and skill levels. If they can walk and sit in a boat, they can do this.

Zero Hassle for You: We provide absolutely everything—premium packrafts, paddles, lifejackets, and safety gear. You just show up.

The Perfect Group Size: Our maximum capacity is exactly 6 people per trip, ensuring a highly personal, safe, and tightly-knit group dynamic.

Amazing Picnic Lunch at the end: Gourmet Antipasto plate / cheese platter and a glass of bubbly - but only one if you need to drive home.

We paddle down the Homestead to Wittons Section of the Yarra which offers some great grade 2-3 whitewater. Learn the basic strokes and techniques to get you started in Packrafting. First the flatwater strokes and techniques needed, as well as basic self rescue. Then we will move our way down the river for a short river trip. Along the way we will touch on basic river reading and moving water skills.  You may need to bring a wetsuit for this or they are available for hire. You will get wet.

This 3 plus hour course will give you a taste of all the things that make packrafting great. But they are single kayaks / packrafts, so you will be the master of your own destiny.
