Canoes Plus Adventure Experience run school camps and excursions involving kayaking, canoeing, and rafting across Victoria, with more than 30 years of experience in outdoor education programs. Canoes Plus can organize anything from day based excursions to multi-day journey based programs encompassing hiking, biking, climbing and more, but are highly experienced in providing a tailored bespoke experience for your school group or organization. We run programs locally on the Yarra and Maribynong in Melbourne, in the Yarra Ranges, on the Glenelg River, Gippsland Lakes, and longer programs on the Mitchell River, Thomson River and Mitta River. Programs can be flatwater based, or moving water and whitewater.
We have served many Schools including Scotch College, Geelong Grammar, Lilydale Heights and Tintern with both day trips, technique sessions and journey programs on the Yarra, Thomson and Mitchell, over the past few years. One of our latest innovations is expedition packrafting for schools in a journey program. The program was designed and implemented by Dita Pahl, our highly PA qualified lead instructor and coordinator. Pahl ranks as one of the highest qualified instructors for watersports with a PA senior instructor qualification in kayaking, canoeing, Packrafting; and holds certifications in Abseiling, climbing, canyonning, hiking, rafting, swiftwater rescue, wilderness first aid and more.
All our instructors are the most highly qualified and recommended in the business, with many having more than 20 years experience in Outdoor Education and Kayaking. You can meet our instructors and check out their qualifications and history.
